Minimum marks criteria may exist in case of many institutes. Usually it is around 45-50% aggregate marks. Some institutes even accepts 10th pass students for their certificate courses. 

Required Education
Candidate need to get admitted in a recognized institute for either a bachelor, diploma or certificate course. After completing his studies, he shall get a degree of completion of the course or a certificate for completion of certificate course. 

Additional Requirement
Since field knowledge is necessary to gain experience. Only theoretical knowledge isn’t enough. Doing apprenticeship or training under a reputed interior designer is extra advantage for the candidates.
