Your day is basically a series of rituals and chants that you say or do in order to calm yourself.

You do things slowly because you need to count and mark them in your brain.

There is only ONE right way to do stuff.

And no matter how frustrating it is, you can't stray from that.

A simple task like putting on clothes can take you an hour if you think negative thoughts.

You have to hide your rituals from your friends and co-workers.

And perform them without anyone seeing you.

Instead of thinking about normal stuff throughout the day, you think about how to make your rituals better.

You fear that if you don't listen to your OCD, terrible things will happen around you.

You try to overcome your OCD by ignoring it.

And then get so scared that something bad will happen, that you spend 2 hours making up for it with rituals.
