Shahs Of Sunset Series 2 – Meet the New Characters

Sammy might not have the overt good looks of the other members of the cast – but don’t be fooled by the thinning hair artfully concealed by a fedora. The man is a Beverly Hills property developer, specialising in the construction of multi-million dollar abodes for the rising elite of the Persian community. He’s 35 years old and has had his fair share of expensive flings – but now, at this stage in his life, he’s looking for a woman who appreciates him for his heart, rather than his wallet. Bonus points if she appreciates his pink shirts.

Of all the new faces on the show this series, Omid might be the one for you to watch most closely (and suspiciously, while clutching a large glass of wine).

He’s here for a good time, viewers, not a long time, and he’s got his eyes set on one of your favourite regular cast-members. Omid is tall, handsome and straight-talking with some seriously well-groomed eyebrows – and he with abs you could bounce coins off, you can bet that large glass of wine of yours that he’s set to stir things up.

Jessica has the perfect cheekbones and perfect hair we’ve come to expect from our female Shahs – and she’s on the show with one objective, and one objective only: to land herself a man. If you’re looking to be that guy then here’s what you need to know: she likes a dry martini, an expensive meal and having someone to boss around.

If you ever think she’s one-sided, though, think again – Jessica became a registered nurse after surviving an almost fatal bout with leukemia at the age of 12, so she knows what suffering is – and, more importantly, she knows how to fight.

In a show full of bombshells, it seems almost redundant to mention this – but Lilly, known to many as Persian Barbie, is perhaps the most long-limbed, long-haired, long-eyelashed babe ever to set foot on the Shahs of Sunset scene.

A fan of stacked heels and short skirts, Lilly has been accused by some of being boring due to her lack of enthusiasm for nights out on the booze – but don’t be fooled. She owns her own jewelry line as well as a range of swimwear and she won’t walk away from a fight.

Anita’s not an entirely new face to the show, but since she was only a sporadically included in the last series, let’s have a wee recap: she’s a serious athlete (seriously, don’t try to outrun her) and fashion merchandiser and a trained paralegal.

She’s also as hilarious and she is beautiful, and we’re dead glad she’s back as a regular on the show.
