Joey's Best Moments on Friends

In this episode, Joey appeared as a celebrity guest on the American TV game show Pyramid, but his lack of intelligence got the better of him, and rubbed his teammate up the wrong way. His performance can best be described in three words: PAPER. SNOW. A GHOST.

Everyone massages the truth a bit on their CV, but Joey may have went a little too far when he wrote that he could speak French. When his skills were called upon for a play, he turned to French-speaking Phoebe for some lessons. Even with all of Phoebe's help, he still couldn't quite get to grips with the language. This was the nadir of Joey's stupidity.

Joey is like a child in many ways, so it makes sense that a young girl (played by Dakota Fanning) would be the one to help Joey cope with Monica and Chandler leaving him in the city as they move to the suburbs.

Most of us who have endured any kind of facial waxing will know the pain Joey felt when he went to the salon to get his bushy brows dealt with. Unable to endure the pain, he could only cope with one bout of waxing, leaving him with eyebrows resembling (in Chandler's words) "a baby caterpillar chasing its mama."

Any struggling actor would kill to be in a movie starring Al Pacino. However, Joey's friends were less than impressed when they found out that he would only be portraying Mr Pacino's rear end in a shower scene.

The perils of taking a modelling job leave you open to having your image used for any kind of campaign. Joey found this out the hard way when his image was plastered all over New York City as a warning about venereal diseases.

When Monica wasn't being treated with respect by her employees, she hired Joey with the intent of firing him in front of everyone to show how tough she could be. The plan backfired however, when Joey (going by the name Dragon), ended up becoming friends with the very same employees who were giving Monica a hard time.

Rachel's infant daughter Emma became attached to Joey's stuffed penguin Hugsy, but Joey wanted his bedtime cuddle pal all to himself. Unlucky for him, any attempts he made to get it off Emma did not end up in his favour.

It's no secret that Joey is a fan of food. If he wasn't eating, he was usually talking about food or planning what his next meal was going to be. So when he was set up on a date with a woman who had a habit of trying a bit of his food, he was not happy!

In the Friends universe, three little words were able to make women fall to their feet in front of Joey. Call us cynical, but we doubt that a quick look up and down and a "How you doin'?" has that level of power in real life.
