Humans are often regarded as lesser creatures, and even prey. Even so they are the majority populace, and have proven that they are a strong force to oppose once they are aware of the supernatural communities. Interaction with, and even submission to the Human Faction is necessary for all supernatural communities to be able to exist in what little harmony they have, as witnessed when Niklaus ignored the rules of the human faction and killed their leaders after stealing the city from Marcel.
Like the humans you can be underestimated, to your enemies' surprise. You desire the basic necessities of life: safety, health, comfort and love. You do not feel the need to dominate or hurt others to feel good or powerful.

The Crescent Clan was a fierce family of werewolves. In the 1990s, the pack suffered from in fighting while they battled with the vampires, led by Marcel Gerard, for control of the French Quarter. Unwilling to indiscriminately slaughter an entire people, Marcel had the Ancestral Witch, Celeste Dubois (in the body of Brynne Deveraux), curse the pack so that they turned human only on the full moon.
Like the Crescent Clan you are fiercely loyal to your family, strong, aggressive, and can be quite hot headed. Adherence to family traditions has its ups and downs: productive families become wealthy and strong; fractured families can become dependent on stronger members, which holds the family back as a whole. There are nine covens of Ancestral Witches in New Orleans. These witches channel the power of their ancestors to create magic.
They seek to preserve the natural balance of the earth, though that philosophy is often tweaked to fit current goals of the witches. Although very powerful beings, like werewolves they are still mortal, and can be killed by the same means humans are.

All vampires are descended from the Original family. After being turned they become manic for a period of time. Vampires experience heightened senses and emotions, the ability to turn their humanity off, and a strong need to consume blood. Older vampires are able better able to master their impulses and control their abilities.
Because vampires live so long, their desire for worldly things and luxury often surpass other species.
Like vampires, you are highly intelligent and ambitious. While you may not always seek to dominate in order to hurt others, you do feel most comfortable being at the top of the food chain. You are as likely to use your words as well as your muscle to manipulate others into doing what you want. You justify your conduct by instilling in yourself a belief that you are superior to others, even when you need them to achieve your ends.
