(Unless you’re worth more money than this contract, in which case you might find yourself visiting District Fifteen, which is way down in the depths of the City Without End, and quite dark and smelly.)

They’re the new mayor of Landing, Alkirak’s only town! Together, you’ll enjoy short walks from one domed building to another between storms of dust and poisonous mists. Inside, however, you’ll discover the delights of frontier living—dehydrated food, decades old reruns for the holo viewer, and monthly visits from traveling musicians. Just remember not to go out when the wind is high, and you’ll live a long and happy life together. Also, maybe don’t visit the terrace when the sun is up, or take plenty of sunscreen. Oh, and here’s a few dozen recipes for soy products. You’re going to need them.

They’re the Section Chief in charge of goods distribution! Together, you’ll enjoy the privilege of their position in the form of ten percent of every cargo stored in and transferred through the station. Mining tools, dehydrated fruit cubes, bolts of real material, farm stock—you’ll be able to raise chickens on a space station! Make sure they’re adapted to low light environments, though, or the cocks will crow at all hours. Your match will educate you on what to do in case of explosive decompression or raids by pirates! In between lessons, you’ll enjoy socializing with the AI—because there is no other staff. Privacy is a plus in this station.

*The Section Chief is a sweet, sweet person, though. You’re going to love living on Deckard Station. Otherwise, the AI knows where you can get a remote body…
