One of the incredible devices we have ever had is the iPhone. IPhone has proven to be an impressive device, with brilliant features making it a favorite a device to many. But how well do you know your iPhone? How many hidden smart tricks do you know? While there are many hidden tricks which are known, including, customizing vibrations, capturing photos when you are shooting videos, double spacing to input a full stop, tapping to stop among others, there are these five iPhone tricks which probably you will hear them for the first time.

The power in the search option

On your home screen there is a glaring “search here” option, but how do you use it? Do you just use it when searching contacts? If that’s you, there is more you can do with the search option. Here are some functions, which you can do from the search option:
• Type “weather” and your location’s weather will just appear, without the need of opening the weather application. When you want to know the weather in a different location, type the word “weather” together with the location zip code of that area, and you will access instant weather feedback.
• Are you unable to crack the answer of a certain calculation? You don't have to open the calculator; you can do it from the search bar, for example, 55 divided by 7, type 55/7, while for multiplication, use the asterisk symbol.
• The search settings. You can search for the setting you want from the search option, for example, WIFI; you can do it for any other setting.
• Searching for any application, instead of flipping all through the app list. Also, you can search a contact, files, and emails on your phone.

IPhone 6S & 6 Plus 3D Touch Goodness

Are you hearing 3D Touch Goodness for the first time? If you are, then you have been missing the best ways to execute some cool stuff from your device.

To get 3D Touch, just press harder on your device screen, either on a photo, link or icon. By doing so, you can access the app’s specific settings without opening it. For example, when you press the settings app harder, you get quick access to Battery, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi settings effortlessly.

From the music app, you get a quick access and effortlessly locate your last music in the playlist.

Additionally, you can switch from one app to another, without using the searching option or selecting from the app list. To do this, press harder (3D Touch) on the phone’s left side, and you will access the apps you recently installed. From there switch to your preferred app. 3D Touch will also work from other apps, including, Snapchat, Google Maps, and Spotify.

Use an iPad adaptor to quickly charge your iPhone

I can bet my last dollar, that, if you ask 90 percent of iPhone users, one thing that sucks in an iPhone, the answer will probably be; fast draining of the battery. While there is no exact way of prolonging your battery life, it is possible to charge your device faster, especially when you’re in a hurry or leaving the house. You can achieve this by using an iPad power adapter. The good thing is that, by charging this way, you won't compromise the battery performance.

5

Holding the camera capture button continuously

If you love taking photos using your iPhone 6, there is a better way of doing that- capturing simultaneous photos and then select the best one. To do this, open the camera app, and instead of tapping the capture button once at a time, just hold it. You will capture simultaneous photos of the same object; you can then later choose the best.

6

Use Siri as a reminder

How do you save reminders? Do you have to type it and save it, according to the time you want to be reminded? There is a simple way of setting your reminders when you are using Siri. Just open Siri and say what you want, e.g. “Siri, remind me to call my mom tomorrow at 9.30am” Siri will capture the reminder and will be stored in the reminders. When it’s time or when you’re in your preferred location, you will hear a reminder. However, this feature is only available with iOS 9.

I hope you have learned a new trick. Let me put a caveat; it's not that these five tricks are the most advanced or the only available. There are hundreds of other smarts tricks available, but their usefulness depends on the user.
