What Role Do You Play In Your World?

Congrats, you're the main character in your life!

You are the leader of your group, and have some problem that you take head-on. You have a dark side, but your team helps you set it aside for the good of everyone. You almost always have an arch-nemesis who tries to foil everything you do just to spite you. But with help of your sassy sidekick and geeky sidekick, as well as sometimes your parental figure, you will conquer your evils and save the day!

Some examples include Simba, Katniss Everdeen, Harry Potter and Percy Jackson.

You are the evil in somebody's life!

You work on your own agenda and are constantly trying to spite the protagonist. You may not always win, but when you do, it's spectacular. With your henchmen at your side, you're invincible! Nearly.

Some examples include Scar, Voldemort, Valentine, Kronos, Snow and Coin.
Do all antagonists go by one name?
Well, I guess you should follow suit. Be mononymous from now on.

You are everybody's favorite character, let's be real.

You side with the good guys. Though you may be troubled, and your best friend - the protagonist - doesn't even notice it, you suck it up in the name of humor. You make everyone laugh and have the best one-liners, and we all beg for you to have more screen time.
You go, you.

Some examples include Timon and Pumbaa, the Lightwood siblings, Grover Underwood, Leo Valdez and Ron Weasley.

You smarty pants, you. You're the nerdy population's favorite.

You are the smart best friend of the protagonist. A lot of times -NOT WITH RAFIKI - you are in love with the protagonist, and most of the time it doesn't work out. Hey - don't worry, there is one out there for you. There always is.
You're the one that saves the good guys asses all the time, and the one who hands the bad guy's theirs. You may be geeky, but you're the one who really moves the plot along. Keep being awesome, kid.

Some examples include Rafiki, Hermione Granger, Simon Lewis and Annabeth Chase.

You are the parental figure, if not biological parent, of the good guy!

You were the source of inspiration for your child, and they went on to take that inspiration to great heights. Most of the time, you don't live to see their full potential,, but you should know they'll end up okay without you.

Some examples include Mufasa, Lily and James Potter, most superhero parents, Sally Jackson and et cetera.

You... you are just plain evil.

You are the right hand man of the antagonist of the story, but you, sir, are truly the evil one. You may not be the brains of the operation, but that's because you're kind of mad.

Some examples include these guys, Bellatrix Lestrange, and do I need to go on? You ARE Bellatrix.
Or Ed. That depends on something else entirely.

You are the love interest of the story!

Some people love you, some hate you, some want to be you, some want to murder you brutally. You are the apple of the protagonist's eye, and even though you don't have the best instincts, your intentions are front and center. You may get some shade from other characters, but you are loved for a reason.

Some examples include Nala, Laurel Lance, Peeta Mellark and many others.

You seem to be slightly irrelevant to the over arching storyline, though you might have given the protagonist - or antagonist - a little bit of information that sent them on a rampage. Otherwise, we know little about you.

Some examples include one of these giraffes, Hufflepuff girl, young Griffindor boy, those people from the Council meeting, that one protester, and that one boy from Apollo who said something funny that one time.
