Visa issue canceled their iGV summer peak once.
Imagine the projects that you have been preparing for weeks or months are in vain because...they are canceled. Not only in your LC, but...nationally. Whoa! But instead of just pondering on the reason why it happened, they decided to take action instead. How's the result now?
Now AIESEC in Sri Lanka is supported by Ministry of Higher Education when it comes to dealing with visa legalities issue. Strategic alliance has done right! Having a partnership with the government officials has helped them to continue the operation in the entity.
AIESEC in Sri Lanka: Redefined.
The main 'villain' of their operation is now busted, so now it's time for their team to take a look at their entity itself. AIESEC in Sri Lanka has introduced several new things to adjust their current reality with their new strategies.: new functions on MC level in order to support the entity with their own respective perspective (B2C, PR and oGT), new OD model for their LCs, and new TM framework. And look at them now: one of the most growing entities in AP region!

Now everything is in line, it's time to take AIESEC in Sri Lanka to the next level by expanding! Their operations are centralized to a particular province of the country. But now, they are on their way to do an aggressive expansion approach by tapping the market outside the centralized region. They have new OD model and TM framework supporting the operation, so they're good to go!
