Sure, the clues started out sort of vague, but the combination of all five clues mean it could only be "Sam the Slayer"! Sam is a very intelligent and bookish heir to House Tarly whose history of constant bullying in his youth caused him to look for his place elsewhere in the world - eventually leading him to The Night's Watch and his best friend (clue four), Jon Snow. He is obviously still alive in the series (clue two), as we just recently saw him lose his virginity in the latest season (clue one). Sam's much maligned nickname of "Sam the Slayer" (clue five) comes from his major triumph of killing a White Walker (clue three).
