How To Customize A Europe Tour Package On A Budget!

A Europe tour package is the most sought out trip in the world no matter the age group. Unfortunately, taking a Europe trip is the most expensive in the world as well. There are so many people who save for years just to take a trip to this beautiful continent. Luckily, you can customize your own Europe tour package depending on your budget. You can even get help with the visa process from your travel agency. Here is how you can customize your Europe tour package on a budget:
1)     Book a hostel instead of a hotel- As the case with most tourist-populated places, hotels are crazy expensive and can demolish your entire budget. Instead of booking a hotel room, book a hostel. Not only is it budget-friendly; but you can also meet travellers from all over the world and partake in some activities that are limited to hostels. If you are travelling with a spouse, European hostels offer private double rooms so you can maintain your privacy and stay within your budget at the same time!

2)     Travel in the off-season instead of the peak season- This one is a no-brainer but people often tend to forget about this one. In Europe, prices of the tourist spots, restaurants, hotel/hostel rooms, etc., fluctuate drastically depending on the season of travel. June to September is usually the tourist season, which should be avoided if you want to travel Europe on a budget. The months of March to May and October to November are off-seasons. You won’t see a lot of tourists and the prices will be reasonable, making it a win/win situation!
3)     Avoid restaurants- Wherever you go in Europe, the food is incredibly expensive in restaurants and will leave a hole in your wallet. If you intend on travelling Europe on a budget, avoid these restaurants. Every single city, from Paris to Rome, offers street food which is governed by strict hygiene laws. The street food is filling, affordable, and delicious. Do your research about roadside snacks and satisfy your palate on a budget.
4)     Avoid heavily tourist populated areas- Though areas like the London Eye or the Eiffel tower might be on your bucket list, try going to places that aren’t very popular with tourists or places that tourists might not know about. Not only will you save the admission fees; but you will also be able to explore hidden treasures that not too many people get to witness.
5)     Book connecting flights- Whatever is your first destination, try to avoid booking a direct flight. Direct flights are costly and can be a bad thing for your budget. Instead, book connecting flights. Connecting flights cost less because people do not want to spend 6 hours in an airport, but if you are on a budget, they can be a godsend.
Remember to do your research about Europe tour packages, talk to your travel agency about the visa process because the Schengen visa process can be quite tedious, and make detailed budget. We hope you have fun exploring Europe! Good luck!
