Warriors news that of Kevin Durant meme in Chase Center gets KD reaction

Warriors news: Although Kevin Durant is already with the Brooklyn Nets, he’s still being linked to Warriors news stories, especially after a photo of him touring Chase Center made its rounds on social media.

In January 2017, the Warriors announced the construction Chase Center, the team’s new arena, in San Francisco. One of the promotional photos the team used featured KD a touring the arena, wearing a protective helmet and wielding a shovel. Back then, it felt like Durant would stay a Warrior until his career is over.

Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, as two years later, Durant would sign with the Nets.

So it’s no surprise that KD’s Chase Center photo would go viral, and when the two-time Finals MVP himself saw it, he knew he had to say something.

Durant shocked the entire NBA in the summer of 2017 when he decided to join the Warriors, who were coming off a devastating loss at the hands of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals. KD made Golden State an even formidable team. His first two seasons with the team led to back-to-back championships.

However, Durant’s third year with the Warriors was filled with drama as reports of him potentially leaving the team started to gain momentum in the early stages of the 2018-19 season. Despite all the speculations, Golden State still managed to reach the NBA Finals for the fifth consecutive year. However their quest to win a third straight title was halted by the Toronto Raptors, who beat them in the championship series.

To make things worse, Durant suffered a torn Achilles in Game 5 of the Finals and he’s expected to miss the entire 2019-20 season.

But that didn’t stop KD and the Nets from agreeing to terms on a four-year deal. Brooklyn believes that Durant will be able to regain his All-Star form in the future and that he’d eventually lead the team to a championship.

As for the Warriors, losing Durant was obviously a huge blow to their championship hopes next season, but they still have the original Big 3 of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. Golden State believes that those three will keep them in the hunt for a championship for at least a couple more years.

Still, these Durant-related Warriors news would’ve been nice if he’s still with the team. Oh well, brand new beginning for both sides. We’ll just have to wait and see who’ll make it back to the Finals first.
