How would you describe your relationship with Jesus?

How much time do you spend in prayer?

My love language (the way I feel most loved) is:

Which one of these things do you fear the most?

Which of these is your deepest desire?

I have said or thought, "If I'm not married by the time I'm thirty, I'll just become a priest/nun."

I have heard the voice of God calling me to the religious life.

I would have difficulty remaining celibate for the rest of my life.

God might ask me to sacrifice something that I really want in life so that I can serve Him and others.

I am in a dating relationship and hoping that this is "the one".

Since the time I was a child people have often told me that I would make a wonderful priest/nun.

I haven't dated in awhile. There are no good guys/girls left for me.

I like the idea of living in community and working alongside others.

The thought of living with the same person every day of my life, sharing a bed with them, a joint bank account, and household responsibilities makes me cringe.

My parents:

I feel those who are called to a religious vocation are:

I enjoy...

You didn't really thing a Playbuzz quiz could tell you what your vocation will be, did you? If you did, you are giving the Catholic Link authors way too much credit! So, what was the point of the quiz if there is no result? The point was to allow you to spend a few moments reflecting upon your desires, your dreams, your fears, your gifts, and your relationship with Christ. Taking the time to think about these things will help you discern where God is calling you.
Here are few tips and reminders for those discerning their vocation.
* The best way to hear God's voice is to spend time with Him. Bring your thoughts and concerns to your prayer time (make sure that happens at least daily!), go to Adoration, and frequent the Mass and the Sacraments as often as you can. These things are not just for those called to the religious life. All of us need to spend time with God!
* Remember, God is not going to call you to do something that is completely opposite of what your heart desires. Imaginesisters.org features pictures of Nuns on their Facebook page. Look at their faces. These are not women who simply could not find a husband. These women are in love with the Lord and with the life they have been called to. They radiate joy. They were not dragged kicking and screaming to a convent because there were no good men left! You will not be forced into a vocation because of a lack of other options.
* Seek spiritual direction. A priest or a spiritual director can help you to find the answers to the questions that your heart is asking.
* Keep an open heart and mind. Ask questions such as: What does Jesus want of me? How will I best serve Him? What vocation will lead me to heaven? How will I help others know the love of God through my vocation?
*Ask for confirmation. Look for confirmation from close friends, family members, and your spiritual leaders. They know you well and can give insight into your discernment process. Also look for spiritual confirmation. God often sends us signs through the Word of God and in the natural world that can help to point us in the right direction.
* " A Christian needs these two women, two women who are mothers and virgins: the Church and Our Lady. And the “test” of a good Christian vocation is to ask yourself: “How is my relationship with these two mothers going?”, with mother Church and with mother Mary. This is not a question of “piety”, no, it’s pure theology. This is theology. How is my relationship with the Church going, with my mother the Church, with the holy mother the hierarchical Church? And how is my relationship going with Our Lady, who is my Mum, my Mother?" - Pope Francis June 2014

** If you are a spiritual director, vocations counselor or serve as a leader in ministry, we encourage you to print and use our quiz to help initiate conversations surrounding vocations with those you serve. The questions on this quiz can also be used as a guided reflection to allow others to become more aware of their own interests and gifts. **
