Murder House

Murder House

The place where you feel the most comfortable is also the place that kills you. One day, like many days before it, you're home alone in your room, lying on your bed, and surfing the Internet. Then you hear it. There's a strange noise coming up through the vent, a sort of ringing, like a nail tapping against a metal pole. You take off your headphones and suddenly you don't hear it anymore. It's probably just your imagination. A few seconds after putting your headphones back on, you hear it again. This time it doesn't stop so quickly. You decide to go to the basement and see what's making the noise. You flick the light switch but apparently the bulb is dead. You quickly grab a flashlight and head down. It's unusually dark, as if all natural light from the little window and the open door upstairs and has been sucked out. You can hear a creaking sound, but when you scan the flashlight around, you don't see anything out of the ordinary. No wait, something moved. What was that? You sweep the flashlight back and stop when it lands on him. A pretty blond boy sits in a rocking chair, grinning at you. In a flash he's off the chair, and you're dead before you experience anything more than shock, his face being the last thing you ever see.

Asylum

Asylum

After disappearing for a week, you arrive back home and earnestly try and tell your parents that you did not run away. Aliens had abducted you before sending you back to Earth, and you're not sure why, it's all a bit of a blur. Naturally, your parents don't believe you, so they send you to an asylum in the hopes you'll get some psychological help. Except instead of getting help, the horrors only continue. The doctors have primitive methods of therapy, most patients are insane, and those that aren't warn you that you need to escape as soon as possible, before you go insane, or worse. You try to call your parents but the phones don't work. You decide to escape. Your first attempt fails, and you're horrifically punished for it by having your legs cut off. Your ceaseless begging to be let go results in your tongue being cut off. After a second failed escape you are finally put out of your misery. Your parents are told that your psychosis was too much for you, and you ended your life yourself.

Coven

Coven

One night, at a high school party, you run into an old school friend who you thought had moved away. As it turns out, she'd just switched to a boarding school, but she's so happy to see you again that she invites you to visit the next day. You excitedly go to the address she gave you, and are greeted at the door, less than welcomingly, by another student who criticizes your outfit, asking if you only shop at the Gap. You're rescued by your friend who introduces you to the rest of the girls. It's all fun and games until an argument breaks out between the girl you met at the door and another girl. The fight escalates and a lamp goes flying at the second girl's head, though you don't recall seeing the first girl pick it up. Then all sorts of furniture goes flying of their own accord, though you've no idea how. Next the curtains catch fire, and as you and your friend try to put it out, a couch hits you out of nowhere, pinning you down and against the wall. The flames blaze, catching your hair, and in an instant, the rest of you is engulfed too. Though it feels like minutes go by, it's really only seconds before your screams stop, you're unrecognizable, and you're dead.

Freak Show

Freak Show

Your love of circuses and talent shows is ultimately your downfall. Eventually the common, colorful, kid-friendly shows start to lose their fun, so you go seeking out more thrilling performances, those of the obscure nature. For a while the disgusting, horrific, and odd shows keep you entertained. On your eventful last day, the performance you attend calls for an audience member to participate. You excitedly raise your hand to assist the magician with his act. It's the classic 'saw the assistant in half' trick. You slide into the box, head and feet sticking out at either end, and the magician locks you in. As he grabs the saw, your excitement becomes tinged with nerves, and when he sticks the saw into the groove, your nerves turn to fear. Unfortunately, your death is slow, but it's so painful you pass out within seconds, and never wake up again.

Hotel

Hotel

On a vacation with your significant other, you decide to stay at a rather cheap hotel to have more money available for shopping and activities. There aren't many other residents, and those that are staying are rather odd, but they mostly keep to themselves so it's okay. The bed isn't the most comfortable, and the bathroom isn't the cleanest, but you don't mind. You got what you paid for. One night you can hear children laughing and running through the halls (even though you hadn't seen any families around before), and you can't sleep. You and your partner decide to go down to the bar for a couple drinks. Though you can still hear the kids, strangely, you don't see them once. At the bar, you run into another couple staying at the hotel. The couple is glamorous and a little pretentious, but they're friendly enough. After more than a few drinks, they invite you and your partner to their hotel room to continue the fun. All four of you. It's an experience not like one you've ever had before. Especially when the strange, beautiful man on top of you suddenly slashes your throat, and the strange beautiful woman atop your partner does the same. The couple presses their lips to you and your partner's necks, draining the blood from your bodies until there's none left.
