January 11th - Step in a Puddle and Splash Your Friend's Day

With the post-festive doom and gloom really setting in, what better way to embrace the rubbish British winter than having a bit of mischievous fun and reverting back to your childhood way by splashing in those puddles. Just make sure you're on foot, puddle-drenching from your car doesn't count!

February 11th - White T-Shirt Day

White T-Shirt Day, was initiated by Ben Christenson on this day in 1948 to honor the men and women who participated in a sitdown strike at General Motors in 1937.

Everyone must wear a white shirt or blouse and your white shirt must not get dirtier than your boss's shirt.

March 10th - Middle Name Pride Day

Some of us love them. Some of us hate them. Some of us don't even have one. Either way it's that middle name that makes you, John Smith, different from all those other John Smith's, so wear that middle name with pride!

April 14th - Reach as High as You Can Day

Whether you choose to take this day literally or metaphorically is up to you, but as the wise S Club 7 once said, Reach For The Stars. Want that new job? Go for it! Want that chocolate bar on the top shelf? Go for that too!

June 4th - Hug Your Cat Day

It has to be a cat, a dog will not suffice. Don't hold us responsible for any resulting injuries from those feline friends who are not fond of hugs.

7

July 22nd - Hammock Day

8

August 8th - Sneak Some Zucchini Onto Your Neighbour's Porch Day

Not much is known about the origins of this day, but as zucchini (or courgette) grows particularly well in the summer, perhaps it was invented as a way to get rid of all those surplus courgettes you've got lying around?

9

September 28th - Ask a Stupid Question Day

Today's the day to ask all those questions that you've been saving up all year, when you've been too scared to ask...
