15 things ALL golfers worry about constantly!
Golf can sometimes provide a headache.

WATER
There's just something about water that provides a certain uneasiness to a round of golf. It's the one reason many of us fill up with a dozen box of golf balls before a round, in case of a mare. But don't worry, even water freaks out a Tour pro. Take the iconic par-3 17th at Sawgrass, for example. A flick with a 9-iron or wedge, and yet they will breath a huge sigh of relief should their ball remain dry.
GETTING HOME ON TIME FOR YOUR PARTNER
Some of us like to golf because it's golf, some of us like to golf to see friends and some of us like to golf because, well, it gets us out the house for a bit. If it falls into the latter, chances are you said to your partner you'll be home in no more than five hours and ready for dinner at 8pm. Slow play can sometimes be very difficult to explain over WhatsApp.
WILL TIGER WIN A MAJOR AGAIN?!
The majority of the golf world adores Tiger Woods and is loving his return to form in 2018. He's come close and it's surely a matter of time until he wins an 80th PGA Tour title. But will he win a 15th major? He nearly got there at the US PGA but finished just shy of Brooks Koepka.
SUDDENLY DEVELOPING A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SHOT TYPE
So you've been honing a 'fade' with your coach for the best part of six months in time for the year's Club Championship. You're out playing a practice round and all of a sudden you reach the 10th and unintentionally start hitting a 'draw' on every hole until the end of the round. It's why we love golf, right?
RAIN
Before any round of golf, we'll typically worry about the weather forecast and whether or not it's going to rain. We can handle some wind, and even the cold, yet there's just something about rain that has us running for cover. If we had access to a caddie who carried our clubs and waterproofs in a Tour bag, the story may be different. Unfortunately for many of us, a Tour card is some way off yet.
BEING HIT BY A GOLF BALL
As soon as you hear the word "FORE", wherever it may be on the course, it's a case of hands over the head and take cover. Getting hit by a golf ball is of major concern to all golfers, especially given not everyone out there has yet mastered the art of what to do when spraying a golf ball down the opposing fairway. One word and simple arm movement could potentially save a life.
PLUG LIES
We all love a fried egg in the morning, but not during the round. You'll probably hear a lot of Tour professionals say "don't plug" when they know their ball is heading for a greenside bunker, especially if there's been some rain. Are you one of those players who likes to make a meal out of plugged lies? You know, the kind of golfer who stands there, hands on hips, tuts, calls his playing partner over to say "hey, take a look at this" and waits three minutes to play the shot?
LANDING IN DIVOTS
So you've nailed that drive down the middle. You're strolling down the fairway as if you own the place. Then you reach your ball and see it nestling in a divot. You suddenly think the world is against you. The key to playing out of a divot is to hit the ball with a descending blow - so just move the ball further back in your stance, move your hands a little further forward and grip down the club for a bit more control.
FLYER LIES
More of a worry for the experienced golfer. One of the hazards of hitting into the heavy rough is the possibility of a 'flyer' lie, which can occur when the ball is partially buried in the grass. When hitting from this type of lie, the ball tends to travel further than expected. Essentially, the shot is guesswork. Do you take a club less and play for the flyer, or do you just play it normally? It's a tricky one.
