Hissing Cockroach

Hissing Cockroach

Your inner insect is the Hissing Cockroach!

Cockroaches have been crawling the earth for millions of years and they are true survivors! However they are easy to please and adapt well to changes in the environment but they do prefer to be active when the light starts to fade away towards the end of the day. In short, you're a bit of a fiery sort but it will take a look to truly push them over the edge. You prefer to avoid daylight and early mornings but that is ok because you're a bit of a party animal once the sun has set and can be seen darting quickly from place to place!

If you would like to spot a Hissing Cockroach in person you'll have the best chance in Madagascar:

Flower Mantis

Flower Mantis

You're an Indian Flower Mantis!

The Mantis is full of patience and so are you! While they are active hunters, if no prey presents itself they can remain in the same spot for days on end and you're equally ok with sitting back and relaxing until your time comes around.

The Indian Flower Mantis is quick and brave enough to stand up to predators by spreading their wings to display their patterns of vivid colours. Just like how you are happy to sit patiently by the sidelines until you're called upon, when you show your true, fiery colours!

Driver Ants

Driver Ants

You're inner insect is the Driver Ant!

This species of ant is patient and yet equally hard working and focused. Above all else though the Driver Ants are team players and are fiercely loyal to one another, this is one species you don't want to get on the wrong side of! No one crosses you and you know exactly who your true friends are, which is definitely not a bad thing to have (but maybe tone down the fierceness with which you go on attack, sometimes you might be a bit too hasty with your first move!).

If you would like to get up close and personal with flocks of Driver Ants, a visit to Central and East Africa should be on the cards for you:

Butterfly

Butterfly

Lucky you! Your inner insect is the butterfly.

You're lucky enough to be the one insect that people do truly love and as a result you're genuinely adored by all those who surround you. The butterfly is arguably the most beautiful of the insects and they symbolise a graceful step towards freedom. You're a free-spirited, gentle being and while you'd rather flee than fight when it comes to confrontation, you're generally wonderful to be around.

Costa Rica is home to over 1,500 species of butterfly so if you're a fan of this beautiful, winged insect then booking a trip to this Central American country would be ideal for you:

Hummingbird Moth

Hummingbird Moth

You got the Hummingbird Moth!

This unique insect resembles the hummingbird in appearance as it flies rapidly between plants and hovers over flowers to feed. Just like the Hummingbird Moth you're quick to think, enjoy being active, adore the sun on your back and have a remarkable good memory, just like your insect counterpart.

Hummingbird Moths are typically found migrating across Europe in the summer months so for your chances to see one in person, take a look at our European projects:
