Recently, scientist Vazrick Nazari discovered a new species of tiny moth that bares a striking resemblance to President-Elect Donald Trump.
According to Nazari, his decision to name the moth after Donald Trump has nothing to do with his political views. He's Canadian. He hopes, however, that by naming the tiny moth, whose wingspan is no more than a centimeter wide, he will be able to draw attention to the need to protect their fragile environments.
I hope he takes it with the good spirit as it is intended. We need the next administration to continue protecting vulnerable and fragile habitats across the United States.

While the discovery of the new moth is exciting, what is more exciting, according to Nazari, is the fact that there is still a lot to learn about the Trump moth. It is known to live in the Algodones Dunes in Southern California and generally lives in Southern California and Mexico, but much about it is still unknown, like how the moths spend their time, their favorite host plants, or what their developmental stages look like.
