Spring is synonymous with new beginnings, fresh starts, and of course- budding romances. There's nothing quite like those beginning stages in a relationship when everything is dreamy and well, just perfect. Here's a list of some of the most romantic songs to daydream away to whether you've got a new love, an old love, or just dreaming of a feature love.

God Only Knows, The Beach Boys

One of the most beloved songs to come from The Beach Boys' many hits, "God Only Knows" made a splash when it was released on the band's 1966 album Pet Sounds. Sometimes the most simple songs, are the best. The record company who released the song in the U.S. wanted it as a single, but later changed their minds and it was put on the record's B-side. Why? If you can believe it, many thought the song would be banned because of the mention of God (and in some places, it was!)

Just the Way You Are, Bruno Mars

Sappy? Corny? Maybe. Romantic, sweet, and swoon-worthy? Definitely. Bruno Mars hit the jackpot with "Just the Way You Are" as his debut solo single in 2010. The song is simple, sweet, and has undoubtedly been played at countless weddings over the last 11 years. Bruno Mars later explained he was inspired by Joe Cocker's 'You Are So Beautiful' and Eric Clapton's 'Wonderful Tonight' - two other romantic hits we love.

Can't Take My Eyes Off You, Frankie Valli

If ever there was a swoon-worthy number, this may be it. Can't Take My Eyes Off You was written by Frankie Valli's bandmate Bob Gaudio along with Bob Crewe. Though the Four Seasons made many a hit together (Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry, and Oh What a Night-- to name a few). It was recorded as a single by Frankie Valli in 1967. Since then, countless covers of this classic have been made, including those by Lauren Hill and Boys Town Gang.

What list would this be without Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You?" This song is one of those you just have to belt out in the shower, or sob to while eating ice cream on the couch. Did you know this hit was originally written and originally recorded by Dolly Parton in 1973? In 1992, Whitney Houston recorded her version of the film The Bodyguard. Once released, Houston's version spent an incredible four weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and holds the record for one of the best-selling singles of all time.[

She Loves You, The Beatles

What is any list of top hits without The Beatles? John Lennon and Paul McCartney wrote "She Loves You" on a tour bus in Yorkshire, England. The song begins with the chorus, "She loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah" instead of the original first verse, thanks to the quick thinking of the song's producer George Martin. This song is The Beatle's best-selling single in the United Kingdom and the top-selling single of any artist in the 1960s. This hit was recorded less than a week after Lennon and McCartney wrote it, and the rest- as they say, is history.

Love Of My Life, Queen

Love of My Life" in 1975 on their album A Night at the Opera. Is there anything more romantic and relatable than lost love and intense longing? "Love of My Life" became a concert favorite of the band's and Freddie Mercury would often pause and let the audience take over the ballad. Since the death of band frontman Freddie Mercury in 1991, the band often dedicates this song to him whenever it is performed, and it has lovingly become known as "Freddie's song."

All of Me, John Legend

John Legend's "All of Me" becomes that much sweeter when you learn it was written for his wife, Chrissy Teigen. The world has loved watching this beautiful couple share their love on social media- including the good, the bad, and the hilarious. This tender ballad can make even the most stoic among us tear up, and we're here for that.

Unchained Melody, The Righteous Brothers

"Unchained Melody" has been recorded by many different artists, but the Righteous Brothers version is a well-known favorite among many. This version was released in July 1965, with a solo by Bobby Hatfield, and become a jukebox standard from there on out. One thing. is for sure, they don't quite make them like this anymore, do they?
