You should see "Inside Out," the newest Disney/Pixar movie that tells the story of five personified emotions inside an 11-year-old girl: Joy, Fear, Disgust, Sadness, and Anger. This movie is absolutely heartwarming for anyone who has grown up, watched their kid grow up, or have a kid who they don't want to grow up. Prepare to cry many tears during this movie, but to walk out smiling because you will really enjoy it as someone who is not afraid to get emotional.
You should see "San Andreas," the 3D disaster film staring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. This movie is about an LAFD search-and-rescue helicopter pilot navigating through the destruction of a magnitude 9 earthquake in California to save his daughter and estranged-wife. The best thing about "San Andreas" is its excellent special effects, which show the Earth crack open at the San Andreas fault line. You will love these awesome effects as well as the fast moving action in this film.
You need to see "Dope," the critically acclaimed film that closed the Directors' Fortnight section at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival. It is about high schoolers who share a love of old school hip-hop and accidentally get mixed up with a drug dealer and stolen Ecstasy. This coming-of-age comedy-drama covers everything from crime and drama to comedy and romance. It also has an amazing cast including Shameik Moore, Tony Revolori, A$AP Rocky, Tyga, and Zoe Kravitz.
You need to see "Jurassic World," the fourth "Jurassic Park" film that has been breaking records in popularity since its opening weekend. You need to see "Ted 2," the sequel to Seth MacFarlane's hilarious 2012 film "Ted." This comedy is about a stuffed animal that came to life and grew up to be a crude party animal with his owner and best friend who is played by Mark Wahlberg. Ted gets married and wants to adopt a baby, but first must prove that he is a person. This feel-good comedy/drama is about a fictional famous actor named Vincent Chase and his group of best friends. This movie is full of celebrities and the best thing about it is that it is like one long episode of "Entourage." It is light-hearted, fun, and shows guys living every guy's dream life.
