What's Your Mythical Patronus?
For when you've moved past a Stag, Dog, or Ocelot... Will the light within you manifest as something more.... Mythical?
There's a reason you loved getting to know Buckbeak in the books and films, as your Mythical Patronus is one and the same - a Hippogriff! More agile and sleek than their Griffin cousins, Hippogrifs are known for their grace and skill. Like you, they are talent incarnate, but instead of flocking to groups you and your patronus prefer to fly solo. Nothing against other fantastic beasts, it's just better that way.
Known symbols of beauty and perfection, the Unicorn is as rare as they come - just like you. If one manages to conjure a Mythical Patronus - and it shows itself as a Unicorn - then all others will take notice. This is both good and bad, and as someone who is no stranger to the spotlight this does not surprise you. So long as you continue to use your power to protect the pure and beautiful in the world, all will be well.
Like the Phoenix, you have teen true tragedy, horror, and sadness, and have risen above it all time and time again. For these shared reasons & traits does your Mythical Patronus take the form of the fiery Phoenix. In times of desperation there is no one stronger than you - than one who can conjure the Phoenix - as you have stared true death and defeat in the face, and come back from the abyss.
You're a true wildcard of a witch or wizard, aren't you? Only a chosen few are met with a Cerberus when their Mythic Patronus is called upon. Like the Cerberus, you harbor great strength and determination of will under pressure, but most of all are extremely protective of people and things that you love. No soft music will be putting your Patronus to bed, that's for sure...
Seen here in map artwork from the early 1500s, the Basilisk has been entrenched in the minds of humanity for centuries. Much of your connection to the Basilisk comes from these ever-circling coils of history, something you feel a deep connection with both in the Muggle and Magic worlds. Above this, however, is your phenomenal sense for the strengths and weaknesses in others, allowing you - like the Basilisk - to align yourself correctly toward an eventual role of ultimate power and pleasure. History always repeats itself, and those who have mastered it's slithering timeline always come out on top.
Where Mythic Beasts are concerned there is none more revered nor powerful as the Dragon, and from this your Mythic Patronus stems. Whether it manifests as a Ridgeback, Horntail, or other, is up to the deepest, darkest secrets of the casting witch or wizard, but one thing all Dragon Patronus conjurers have in common is their penchant for the powerful, and skill with utter domination. How you choose to wield this, however, is up to you, and could be fantastical... or catastrophic... for the world of muggles and magical alike.
