A man was simply pumping gas at a BP gas station at Elmwood Park in Illinois when suddenly, 43-year-old Ronald Morales approached his vehicle and began to threaten him with a gun. Pulling out his own gun, a shootout ensued between Morales and the man he had threatened, but a few seconds later, Morales ran away and later died of his injuries. The driver then sped away in his vehicle. Police, after investigating the shootout using the video footage above and corroborated reports from eyewitnesses and the shootout's survivor, have confirmed that the man killed Morales in self-defense and will not face any charges.
