9-year-old Maddie Aldridge was rushed to the hospital after an ATV accident left her submerged in water for several minutes. But two days later, the daughter of actress and singer/songwriter Jamie Lynn Spears is recovering remarkably quickly.
9-year-old Maddie Aldridge was rushed to the hospital after an ATV accident left her submerged in water for several minutes. But two days later, the daughter of actress and singer/songwriter Jamie Lynn Spears is recovering remarkably quickly.
On Sunday afternoon, actress and singer Jamie Lynn Spears' 9-year-old daughter, Maddie Aldridge was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after a tragic ATV accident left the girl fully submerged and unconscious underwater for several minutes. On Tuesday afternoon, however, she was able to wake up and speak, and was fully cognizant of her surroundings and family members, an almost miraculous recovery. According to a statement from the Sears family's representative:
Doctors were able to remove the ventilator today and she is awake and talking. Maddie continues to receive oxygen and is being monitored closely but it appears that she has not suffered any neurological consequences from the accident.
