Jamie Lynn Spears' Daughter Is In Critical Condition After An ATV Accident

Jamie Lynn Spears' 8-year-old daughter, Maddie Aldridge, was riding in a Polaris ATV on a hunting trip in Kentwood, Louisiana when the vehicle flipped over in water a drainage ditch near a pond on their property, trapping the child for more than two minutes underwater before her family could free her.

Maddie was airlifted to a hospital in New Orleans, where she still remains in critical, but stable, condition according to her doctors. According to the police report, the family saw the accident occur and immediately called an ambulance which arrived within two minutes to free her.

The ATV and child were instantly submerged in the water right before their eyes. Within two minutes, Acadian Ambulance Services arrived and assisted in freeing the child from the cold waters. This is an extremely tragic accident.
