What Nationality Is Your Primary School Education?

Your elementary school education most most like the Scandinavian model. You're the kind of person that like to be going against the evaluation-driven, centralized model that much of the Western world uses. You hardly had to take exams and didn't have too much homework. Your education was all about a personal experience that suited your needs.

Your primary school education consisted of morning classes and afternoon activities to ensure you got the best of both worlds. You were encouraged to pursue your interest and probably excelled at them too!

Your elementary school education was very similar to that of the East Asian system. Teaching was coherent, fit-for-purpose and pragmatic, drawing on a range of pedagogical traditions. You were encouraged to problem solve and "think outside of the box". Your education was also well scripted and uniform across all levels and subjects.

Your elementary school education provided instruction in the fundamental skills of reading, writing and maths, as well as history and geography, crafts, music, science, art and physical education. You may have been taught a foreign language, probably as an extra-curricular.

Your elementary school education was similar to the European model. Your curriculum consists of a number of compulsory courses, as well as some optional ones for the older age-groups. You had the option of studying a foreign language and were encourage to explore your interests.
