Wood Elves, or Bosmer, reside in Tamriel's southwest corner- Valenwood. The wood Elves are unmatched in their skills as hunters, and are incredibly respectful of their environment and homeland. These elves prefer to find alternatives to fighting, and often display upbeat personalities acts of kindness. In the early days, before the empire, the Wood Elves sheltered Imperial slaves from harm, helping the first empire even before its start.

High Elves, or Altmer reside in the SUmmerset Isles off the coast of Tamriel's west coast. These elves strive for perfection in everything. Having a keen magical sense and upright culture, the Altmer are incredibly sophisticated and skillful in most all things they do.

Residing in Morrowind, the harsh, northeastern province of Tamriel, the Dark Elves, or Dunmer, get their name from an ancient Daedric curse. Dark Elves are not quick to trust, and are scorned by a number of races for their culture and ancestry. However, the Dunmer are an enduring and versatile people. They make excellent spellswords, warriors, and assassins and make lasting friendships if the time is put into them.

Orcs, or Orismer, reside in the northern provinces of Tamriel, including High Rock, Skyrim, and Hammerfell. This hearty race is actually of elven descent, created from an ancient Daedric curse. However, the orcs are an honor bound and nobel people with a strong sense of community and pride. They Make for an unstoppable force on the battlefield and have lifelong friendships with those who become close enough to understand them.
