Today, you heard a knock, knock, knocking on your door, or maybe the phone rang or you received a letter or email that seemed...unusual, and yet intriguing. Did you respond to the stimulus?
Have you just received some sort of knowledge, or maybe an unusual artifact that was given to you?
Have you recently, or are you now, in a very strange place with different people, wildlife, or values? Is it as exciting as it is dangerous?
Do you feel lost in contemplation after recently beginning an adventure? Does it all feel overwhelming to you?
Did you recently begin a series of intense trials that have pushed you further mentally and physically than ever before?
Have you been either falling in love recently or realizing how important love is in your life? Do you think that the people in your life are worth any sacrifice on your part to help and/or save them?
Are you being besieged by temptations? Are people offering you money to back off your investigation, or otherwise trying to persuade you from your goal in some insidious way?

Right now, you are on the verge of an exciting new adventure! That is why things feel so ordinary in your life. Soon, you will hear either a literal or metaphorical knocking on your door. But, the question is, will you answer? If you do, the adventure begins!

You are a cautious person, who is worried that a new adventure might take you away from your family and loved ones. Or, maybe you have other concerns. Either way, you have refused to participate in an adventure that has recently been presented to you. But, you feel conflicted about that. Now, why do you think that is?

Somehow, things have been happening to make your journey happen. Whether you refused the initial call to adventure or you accepted it, now you are being COMPELLED to follow. You have also met a mentor and they have given you something special: either it was an artifact of some kind, or knowledge. This will prove invaluable to you much later in your quest.

You are in one of the most exciting, and dangerous, parts of the adventure! You are in a place where all rules have ceased to exist, and everything is unfamiliar to you. This is Luke entering the cantina in Mos Eisley where all the strange creatures are. This is Neo immediately after taking the red pill and seeing mirrors are lies. Nothing is as it seems, and you have got to keep your wits about you!

You are in the belly of the whale, i.e., a place where you are in deep contemplation about all that you have heard thus far about the adventure. You will not stay in the belly of the whale for long, because the adventure is thrusting you forward. You cannot run any longer. You must come to terms with the fact that this adventure is happening to you regardless of how you feel. However, the way you feel about what is happening now will determine whether or not you end up being consumed and killed by the adventure, or come out with integrity and honor. Will you turn into a machine like Darth Vader, or end up a Jedi Knight? Use your time in the belly of the whale to think very carefully, and to get clear...crystal clear.
Road of Trials
Road of Trials
You are currently slightly past the 1/3 mark of the adventure. You are now experiencing the trials of the new path you are on. Some minor to medium range obstacles are hitting you, and you are being pushed to your current limits. If you stay focused and determined, and remember WHY you are on this adventure in the first place, then you will soar with your newfound mental/physical, and/or spiritual skills!

Meeting the Goddess/God
At this point, you have discovered a love so powerful that it drives you to accomplish the rest of your adventure. You now know just how amazing love really is. This person is wild, wonderful, and complex.., and you are completely smitten. All heroes have a love that they fight for, and if it isn't a romantic love, then it is a love for family, friends, a deity, or sometimes the world in general. Which love is it that moves you?

Ah, now you have been tempted. But, these temptations only come because someone has recognized that you have real power. The system wants you to be on their side, and the way they always get at you is by either taking hostages of your loved ones, or by offering you material/spiritual goods and/or knowledge that appeal to your ego. What you decide to do here will make all the difference in the world. Literally.
