Grumpy gives back!

As you all know I spend most of my year wasting other people’s frigging time, so I always like to give a little bit back at Christmas, especially with Quality Street only four quid a tin at ASDA.

Grumpy visits the local hospital

So my first stop was to see the nurses at my local NHS Hospital –the trained Angels who keep you away from the real frigging Angels.

Grumpy visits the local Police Station

Next I went to my local Bobby shop. I like to let them know I appreciate the work they do, and besides, it was a nice change to enter a Police Station without being dragged in by the frigging collar. In fact they were even happy to see me and the dog for once.

Grumpy visits the Fire Brigade

My next call was to see the lads and lasses at the fire station. They were very surprised to see me, as we normally exchange gifts when they come round in their chemical suits on Christmas Day to deal with the wife’s cooking.

Grumpy visits the Ambulance Station

By the time I went to see the staff at my local Ambulance station I’d run out of Quality Street, but lucky enough the dog had knitted them all scarves. Just in time as well, because it was frigging Brass Monkey weather that day.

Grumpy visits the Coastguard

Last but not least I went over to see the boys and girls at the Lifeboat Station. I was on holiday this year and I threw the dog’s ball in the sea but the tide took it and the soft sod kept swimming after it. If it wasn’t for the lifeboat crew that day the dog would be cocking its leg in frigging France by now.
