The 15 Most Iconic 'America's Next Top Model' Moments Of All Time

Tyra's legendary blow-up at Cycle 4 contestant Tiffany clearly has to be the first moment on this list. After being eliminated, Tiffany kind of just shrugged her shoulders, much to Tyra's anger. What happened next is a still highly quotable vicious lecture from Tyra.

Tyra has a flair for the dramatic and she loves to fake out the contestants, but her ploy to introduce an acting challenge in Cycle 6 probably (definitely) went too far. In the middle of talking to the girls, Tyra fell to the ground. The girls immediately rushed to help – one of them even started crying – only for Tyra to spring up with a big smile and say "Acting! I was acting!"

Tyra's fainting may have been fake, but in Cycle 4, contestant Rebecca did the real thing. The aspiring model unexpectedly fell to the ground while the judges were critiquing her.

The most memorable model from Cycle 6, and maybe even the entire series, was definitely Jade. She may have been beautiful, but she definitely could not act. When the girls had to film a commercial for Covergirl, Jade hilariously made her way through a party only to forget all of her lines at the end.

We didn't get to see a lot of Amber in Cycle 13, but she left her mark in 'Top Model' history in her short time. The petite girl immediately stood out by discussing her virginity, talking about Jesus constantly, and then repeatedly dancing in front of all the girls and judges. She left the show mysteriously after the first couple of episodes.

In a strange exercise during Cycle 8, Tyra made all the girls come up with nicknames for themselves that could serve as their model names. Almost all of the names made sense, except Dionne's. She chose to go by Wholahay, after seeing a news story about a young teenager with that name being married off to a middle-aged man. WHAT!? Even more cringe-worthy, Tyra vetoed the name and decided to call her Brown instead. Uh...

Tyra can model, and she can act ('Life-Size' anyone!?), so in Cycle 2 of 'America's Next Top Model,' she wanted to prove that she could sing, too. The finalists got the privilege of appearing in Tyra's only music video for "Shake Ya Body." And you know what, it's actually not that bad!

Tyra must have just seen 'She's All That' right before Cycle 2. She cast Shandi as the ugly duckling that she could transform into a beautiful swan, but the transformation took a toll on Shandi. While in Italy, Shandi hooked up with a male model despite the fact that she had a long-term relationship at home.

Cycle 2's Camille often talked back, whether it was to the judges, the other girls, or even professional designers. She spawned one of the most quoted lines in 'ANTM' history after refusing to change her runway walk when an Italian designer asked her to try a different gait.

Camille's wasn't the only memorable moment to happen during go-sees. In Cycle 8, Brittany and Natasha are too late in returning from their go-sees to be judged for the challenge. Brittany erupts in rage and tears, and a calm Natasha tells her "I just want to tell you that some people have war in their countries."

One thing that 'Top Model' does pretty well is coming up with inventive runway ideas. In Cycle 14, Tyra put the girls through a runway that had two large pendulums swinging across it. Not only did Alexandra fall down the stairs before even getting to the catwalk, but one of the pendulums hit her off the runway as well.

Phil and Jiana were pretty flirty during Cycle 20, but never officially a couple. Still, it was hard for them both when they landed in the bottom two next to each other. When Jiana got eliminated by only a tenth of a point, she fell to her knees in devastation, oblivious to Phil attempting to hug her. The resulting clip became immediate GIF gold.

Every cycle, the girls react emotionally when Tyra reveals her makeover plans for them, but Cycle 5's Cassandra's take on the situation was definitely the most memorable. First, her long hair was chopped to a blonde pixie cut. And then, even though Cassandra was in tears from the first cut, Jay Manuel insisted that they cut her hair even more. Cassandra refused, and wound up quitting the competition because of it.

Pretty much every cycle, Tyra gives the girls and America a lesson in smizing, or smiling with your eyes. Basically, she just opens here eyes a little more and kind of vaguely grins, but it's always iconic.

Janice Dickinson was never one to mince words, as she proved in her epic take-down of Cycle 6 contestant Gina. Gina was a shy, mousy girl who confessed to the judges that she was upset that she wasn't performing better. Janice immediately butt in to say that she's failing because she's too shy, and in some sick form of televised torture, forced her to hop on one leg and laugh.
