Your friendship has transcended the workplace to the point where you’re legit each other’s closest friend/sister/wife4life. You’re both fiercely good at your jobs, but never get competitive with each other. You never sugar-coat the truth and always tell each other how it is. You guys would literally do anything for each other. You sing each other’s praises to anyone who’ll listen. You know exactly how to snap each other out of a bad mood. You get on each other’s nerves and criticise each other on the reg, but it’s only because you care. Only true mates could get away with talking to each other the way you two do. And if HR caught wind of your wildly inappropriate emails, there’d be hell to pay.

When it comes to water cooler gossip and snarky emails, you’re the damn kweens, and people know not to cross you because of it. Bitches get shit done, and you guys are living proof of it.

You’ve been there for each other since day one. You can read each other’s minds, and whether it’s career, romantic, or beyond, you always give the best advice because of it. There’s nowhere else you’d ever turn to in or out of the office.

While you might not hang out so much outside of work, you know every intricate detail about each other’s family, friends and everyday lives. You have each other’s backs at work and cover for each other without even needing to be asked. Sneaking a two hour lunch break to get a mani? “She’s at the doctors!” Late in again because you went out last night? “Her train’s broken down!” You work hard, play hard, and would never even dream of grabbing a coffee without getting her one too. (You know her order and caffeine-drinking-schedule by heart, natch.)

You guys could literally take on the world together. One of you may be a natural leader and likes to take charge, but you couldn’t do any of it without your right-hand woman. You’re each other’s ultimate support systems and if either of you decided to get a new job (GASP!), the other would just have to go with.
