Liverpool's city centre L2 postcode called out the council’s pest control team just three times. The lowest in the area.

Nothing to worry about if you live in L28, Stockbridge Village. Between Jan and Nov pest control were called just 28 times (coincidentally).

Completing the top three best areas for lack of rodents in Liverpool is Bootle, L20. Residents here called out experts just 30 times.

Coming in joint fourth is the postcodes of L1, city centre and Netherley, L27. They reported rat problems to the council a comfortable 44 times each.

In sixth and seventh are residents in L10, L3 & L16. They reported vermin infestations 86, 86 and 87 times respectively. (It's in the 00s next)

Homeowners in Speke, L24, kick us off with the reporting of rats hitting the hundreds. 102 times, to be exact. (Things escalate quickly from here)

Ninth for the worst rat problem in Liverpool is Aigburth, L17, with 189 reports to the council. Calderstones, L18, completes the top 10 with 201.

Garston and L19 postcodes had the 11th worst problem of rats in Liverpool. 259 requests to deal with the problems were made to Liverpool Council.

Covering Woolton and Belle Vale, residents in L25 logged 313 instances of rats in their area. In 13th was L5, covering Vauxhall and Everton at 323.

Residents living in West Derby and Croxteth Park, L12, had 409 unwanted meetings with rodents over the 11-month period.

Student populated areas of Wavertree and Kensington came in 15th and 16th worst for rat problems. L15 residents reported 421 encounters. L7 had 429.

L11 homes in Croxteth and Gillmoss called the council’s pest control 448 times in just 11 months.

Residents in Fazakerley and Aintree's L9 postcode contacted vermin exterminators a massive 500 times over the period.

No.19 & 20 worst for vermin infestations in Liverpool: Stoneycroft and Old Swan, L13, and L14, Dovecot, with 576 and 577 rat reports in the postcodes

In third, at the wrong end of the table, are L6 postcodes with 642 requests for vermin control. Second-highest in requests is L8, Toxteth, at 677.
