How to Make Safe with Combination Lock from Cardboard
If you want to have a safe of your own but do not have enough money then not to worry. We are here to tell you that how can you make a safe with combination lock from cardboard. The method is explained below, have a look
1.First of all, you have to take a white piece of paper. You have to draw four squares onto the paper.
2.Cut each square with the help of a knife.
3.Take a pencil now and then roll one square of paper onto the pencil and then apply tape on it to make it roll. You have to repeat this step for the other three squares of paper as well.
4.When you get all the rolls of paper, then you need to get a compass, cardboard piece in rectangular shape and a ruler.
5.Open the compass for 4cm with the help of the ruler and then you need to make three discs.
6.Take a sharp cutter or knife to cut the circles from the cardboard piece.
7.Take each circle of cardboard and then pass a drilling machine from the center of it to make a hole in it. You have to repeat this step for the other two circles as well.
8.On each circle, you have to make a line of 2cm and then cut a piece from the circle. Do this step for the other two circles too.
9.Now you have to get a hot glue gun and then join each cardboard piece on each circle. You have to apply hot glue from the gun onto the pieces so that they do not fall apart.
10.Get a scissor and then cut the rolling papers into small halves.
11.Put each small roll into the center of the circular cardboard pieces.
12.With the help of hot glue, you can fix these rolls of white paper into the holes of cardboard. Apply glue on both ends of the paper.
13.Take all circular cardboard pieces and join them by connecting the white rolling pieces. You will see that when you move a rolling paper, then the three circles will be moving. This will be the combination system of your safe.
14.Get an ice cream stick now and cut it with scissors from both ends to make it a rectangle.
15.Cut the two cardboard pieces in “L” shape by using a sharp knife. Both of these pieces must be identical.
16.Put them together and cut with a sharp cutter on their top. This cut must not be too big.
17.Take the trimmed ice cream stick, and then you have to fix it onto the L shaped cardboard pieces. In this way, when you will move one then the other piece will also move.
18.You have to insert two noodles sticks into these L shaped cardboard pieces. Apply hot glue on both ends so that the sticks cannot move at all.
19.Now you need to get all the other cardboard pieces important for the rest of the box. These pieces include the sides and the front door.
20.You have to make a disc of cardboard piece again and then write numbers on it to unlock and lock the safe.
21.Start arranging the pieces all together.
22.Take small cardboard pieces of cardboard again, and then you need to complete the front door of the safe.
23.Join big pieces of cardboard altogether to make the box and then insert your safe into it. In this way, your entire safe of cardboard will be ready.
