This is Kekoa. No, he's not a very big husky. He's a nine year old Gray Wolf who lives at the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center. That is also him, licking a human woman's face.

Yes. This is real life. Please don't try this at home. Wolves usually aren't this friendly.

2

Kekoa looks like quite a ladies man, but apparently he's actually quite shy most of the time. His name means "brave one" in Hawaiian.

3

Kekoa isn't really a fan of dudes, but around women he can't help but show the love.

Kekoa and Danielle, a staffer he is fond of.

4

Kekoa came to the Wildlife Center with his sister Sakara when they were very small puppies. This probably explains his love of women, and ease with humans.

Michelle again, just hangin with her wolf buddies.

5

The two were adopted from a Wolf Reserve in Florida, they were meant to be ambassadors for the Center, Wolves that they could take off site.

Kekoa is a handsome Wolf.

6

However, Kekoa and Sakara are too shy to be ambassador Wolves. It turns out most Wolves and Wolf/Dog mixes become quite shy and lazy around the age of two. Wouldn't it be nice if human children also calmed down around this age...

Kekoa and Sakara, hanging out, having a howl. You know, because they're wolves and stuff.

You can watch a video of Danielle and Kekoa having some cuddles below.
