Aryanna Gourdin is, in many ways, just an average twelve year old girl. She goes to school, does homework, and has a best friend.

Unlike a lot of girls her age, Aryanna likes to hunt big game.

Aryanna's father is also an avid hunter, and has even taken his daughter on hunting trips abroad. Aryanna's weapon of choice? Her trusty bow, complete with pink arrows

What Aryanna does is all legal; her father has been very careful to make sure that everything they've done is completely above board. Aryanna told a news source;'“It’s something that I cherish and I enjoy. I want other people to see what I have been able to experience,”. But much of the internet has found these pictures less than adorable

There's been some serious backlash against the pictures, including some people calling for Aryanna to be "torn apart by hyenas". For her part, Aryanna claims that all the money she makes from her hunts goes straight back into conservation, and that hunting is good for population control
