There's one thing that even Taylor Swift can't shake off-jury duty!

The Popstar was summoned to a court in Nashville to fulfill her civic duty as an American-and she showed up!

She may not have been thrilled to be there (jury duty, amirite?) but her peers were pretty stoked to see her!

Ever a woman of the people, Taylor took selfies with several other jurors, including this Grandma!

Taylor was noticeably absent from the VMA's on Sunday night, and now we know why! Unfortunately this morning she was dismissed from the jury pool after revealing that she felt she could not be impartial in the case. Still, it's nice to see celebrities being real people sometimes!
