I don't know how a house can get lost let alone a mansion, but this old mansion in East London has been lost for a while now. Malplaquet House is 265 years old, and now you can buy it!

This gem has been hidden away in East London for years!

The house was last inhabited in 1895; before that some of the downstairs rooms had been used as retail space. And then a historian and architect got together and purchased the house and worked to restore Malplaquet House to its former glory

There was apparently an alligator on the ceiling at some point...

The house comes packed with all kinds of super awesome (and a lil freaky) things! Like this incredible hearth that looks exactly like it came out of a horror movie!

I would NOT play Ouija Board in this living room. No ma'am.
