Shawn Mendes healing from surgery

Singer Shawn Mendes posted a selfie to his own Snap story, and though he looks cute as usual in the photo, we couldn't help but notice that there was something unusual hanging off of his nose.
He explained that what we see here isn't a trendy nose ring or septum piercing like you may first think, but rather a remnant of stitches from the "small sinus operation" that he has just had.

Multiple fan accounts are reporting that Shawn is laying low and turning down fan requests for selfies right now – which is totally understandable as he's recuperating.
