Jake Booth is a 35-year-old veteran, husband, and father of two.

2

In February, Booth came down with bronchitis, which developed into double pneumonia, which ended up inducing a heart attack, which sent him into a 48-day coma.

3

When he woke up, Booth knew exactly where and who he was and recognized his family, but there was one very special thing on his mind. As soon as he could form words, the first two out of his mouth were "Taco Bell."

4

A day after he was cleared to eat solid food once again over a month after requesting Taco Bell, Booth ate eight and a half crunchy tacos from the fast food chain.

5

And while he has a long road to recovery ahead of him, Booth is getting steadily better day by day with the help of his family.
