Judith Permar, a 54-year-old resident of Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania, was standing atop a stepstool, reaching into a clothing drop box, when the stool collapsed under her.

Permar's arm and wrist broke and became trapped in the dropbox when the stool collapsed, leaving her hanging on the box in tremendous pain. She was never able to free herself, and the combination of trauma from her broken arm and wrist with the hypothermia killed her according to a coroner's report.

Investigators believe Permar died around 2 a.m, but her body was not found until about 6 hours after her death. What do you think of this bizarre death? Talk to us about it in the comments below, and share with your friends to see what they think.
