Test eggs for freshness

Check out this egg test: place an egg in a bowl of water and observe. If it sinks to the bottom, it's fresh. If the egg starts to stand up and doesn't touch the bottom, it's still fresh, but use it as soon as possible. If it floats to the top, it's no longer fresh. Just throw it away.
