Some pet owners in New South Wales, Australia, decided to attach GPS to their cats. What they found is pretty amazing.

Is this why they sleep all day? So they can run around all night?

These cats are pets! Pet cats! Who live in your house!

And go for 3 kilometer walks!

The researchers say that the cats cover this distance because they're looking for food. One cat especially has been put on a diet recently, so his determination would make sense.

Me too, Whiskers, me too.
