We're scared to death that we're going to do something horrible to our babies.

2

For those of us who breastfeed, our bodies essentially become a human vending machine for our hungry little critters.

3

A lot of times, we tend to feel guilty for not enjoying every single second of motherhood.

4

Not only that, but we blame ourselves for every little thing that happens to our babies.

5

We sometimes feel incompetent if we don't know exactly what we're doing.

6

Unlike other jobs, when it comes to being a mother, we can't just say "I quit" and walk away from our responsibilities when things aren't working out.

7

After pregnancy, the pressure to "lose the baby weight" is unreal and can leave us feeling totally insecure.

8

Often times, we feel like we can't ask for help because it might be seen as a sign of weakness.

9

If we don't invite you over to spend time at our house, it's probably because we're embarrassed by how messy it is. It's nothing personal.

10

Motherhood is the dirtiest job ever. We're literally covered in drool, vomit, poop and pee all the time.

11

No one tells you that some of your most important relationships will change forever. Once you have a baby it becomes a lot harder to be a good wife, friend, sister, daughter...

12

The combination of hormones and sleep deprivation can make us feel totally whacked out.

13

When our children are first born, we don't get out of the house much and can sometimes feel really lonely.

14

But even though our new job is incredibly difficult...

15

And we sometimes wonder where we will find the strength and energy to make it through...

16

Our children are the best thing to ever happen to us!

17

And at the end of the day, it's all worth it!
