Ginevra (Ginny) Weasley
Ginevra (Ginny) Weasley
Ginny was a forceful, independent girl who often knew her own mind. She had an energetic, lively personality. One of the traits Harry was attracted to was that Ginny rarely got weepy. Ginny also had a knack for imitating the mannerisms of others very accurately, much to the amusement of those around her.
Growing up with six older brothers toughened her up, and Ginny was not afraid to stand up to anybody, friends and enemies alike. Notably, she stood up to Draco Malfoy on their first meeting in Flourish and Blotts when he insulted Harry in The Chamber of Secrets. She was even known to stand up to Hermione, her close friend, in defence of Harry's use of the Sectumsempra spell. Also, she could be harsh towards those whom she disliked; for instance, she made fun of Fleur Delacour behind her back when she first became engaged to Bill, and both hexed and crashed into Zacharias Smith when he irritated and insulted her on two separate occasions during her fifth year. She was also pretty cruel to Cho when she wanted to help Harry find the diadem.
Although she hid it from her brothers, Ginny was also an accomplished flier and made the Gryffindor House team in her fourth and fifth years, playing as both Chaser and reserve Seeker. In later life, she would go on to play for the Holyhead Harpies like her hero, Gwenog Jones, and became a Quidditch correspondent for the Daily Prophet.
In many ways, Ginny was very like Lily Evans. She was also a popular girl during her time at Hogwarts and was fancied by a lot of boys. Her brothers, especially Fred, George and Ron, often thought that she was too popular for her own good. She was also known to be quick-witted and funny and could often make others laugh even when they were feeling down.
Ginny was also good at lying and capable of being opaque when necessary. While staying at 12 Grimmauld Place, she was taught by Nymphadora Tonks how to check if a door had been imperturbed by flicking dungbombs at it and watching them bounce away as if hitting an invisible wall. When asked by her mother who was responsible, she blamed it on Crookshanks, even though her hands were filthy at the time. During the first meeting of what would become the D.A. in the Hog's Head, she coughed exactly like Professor Umbridge, scaring those gathered into believing the real Umbridge had caught them. Her acting talents were put to good use later when Harry and Hermione broke into Umbridge's office to contact Sirius through the fireplace. She convinced passing students that the corridor to Umbridge's office had been flooded with garroting gas.
Ginny was also an animal lover, and was known to be fond of cats. When Mrs. Norris was petrified in her first year at Hogwarts, her brothers put her shock down to this fact, not knowing that Ginny was scared because she could not remember what she was doing at the time and feared that she was responsible. She named Ron's owl "Pigwidgeon", and was known to be able to lure Crookshanks out of hiding to play with her when she wanted. In her fifth year, she finally got her own pet, a purple Pygmy Puff from Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes that she named Arnold.
Ronald (Ron) Weasley
Ronald (Ron) Weasley
Ron is a very funny person, but often emotionally immature, and insensitive. He has a sardonic, wisecracking sense of humour that often brings his friends laughter and relaxation. However, as Hermione Granger and Luna Lovegood have pointed out, his humour can occasionally be hurtful, even unintentionally.
Ron is also recognised as being a lot more pragmatical than either of his friends, and can keep a level head during stressful situations. He is very loyal as portrayed in his patronous. A dog, Jack Rusell Terrier.
Fred Weasley
Fred Weasley
The Weasley twins are the staunch enemies of pretension, authority, and pessimism. Their weapons? A pointed, wicked sense of humor and inventive, original charmwork coupled with a good business sense. Like Peeves and Dumbledore, the twins show how handy disruption and laughter can be when you are fighting tyranny and hatred. Fred and George are sons of Arthur and Molly Weasley, falling between Percy (who is two years older) and Ron (who is two years younger). They entered Hogwarts in September 1989 and were sorted into Gryffindor.
Fred and George are very similar in personality. The two find themselves at odds with their mother quite frequently, partly because she doesn’t think they take things like school work seriously enough and partly because they just enjoy pestering and teasing her. They greatly enjoy badgering their older brother Percy as well, whose personality is completely opposite from theirs. They like to be the life of the party and the center of attention. Adventurous boys who push the limits, they spend a lot of time exploring areas of Hogwarts castle and grounds that students aren’t supposed to enter. The twins have a special knack for finding secret passages; they found one their first week at Hogwarts, behind a statue of Gregory the Smarmy on the second floor.
Their frequent escapades and shenanigans get them into plenty of trouble. Argus Filch has an entire file drawer devoted to the rule-breaking of Fred and George, and Hagrid says he’s spent half his life chasing the twins out of the Forbidden Forest. When the Goblet of Fire was charmed with an Age Line so that no one under the age of 17 could enter the Triwizard Tournament, Fred and George took an Aging Potion to try to fool it. The attempt failed, and they were left with long white beards for their trouble. They tend to be disrespectful to teachers in general, even going so far as to throw snowballs at Quirrell’s turban.
Early in their career at Hogwarts, Fred and George were in trouble as usual and were in Filch’s office when they noticed a drawer marked “Confiscated and Highly Dangerous.” That was all the incentive they needed. They grabbed the first thing they could from the drawer and in that way discovered a most unusual map of Hogwarts. It was the Marauder’s Map and they considered it to be the secret of their success over the years. In 1993, they gave the map to Harry Potter, saying that they didn’t need it anymore.

Percy Weasley
Percy Weasley
Percy is a stickler for rules and often pompous due to his love of authority, though he does have good intentions at heart. He has a deep rooted faith in the Ministry of Magic, and refuses to believe in Harry or his family when they say Voldemort has returned ( Order of the Phoenix). He leaves his family but having realised his mistake, returns during the battle of Hogwarts at the end of Deathly Hallows.
Charlie Weasley
Charlie Weasley
Charlie Weasley is Ron’s second oldest brother who works with dragons in Romania.
An “outdoor type” who has spent his whole adult life working with dragons in Romania (CS4, CS14). The second-oldest son of Arthur andMolly Weasley, Charlie is stocky and very freckly (GF4), and he has red hair that he lets grow longer than his mother would like (DH6). He is a member of the Order of the Phoenix despite living in Romania; he primarily helps by working to recruit foreign members (OP4). He did make it to London in time to join the Battle of Hogwarts (DH36).
When he was at Hogwarts, Charlie was an excellent Seeker for the Gryffindor Quidditch team, and led his team to the Quidditch Cup; Oliver Wood claims he could have played for England if he hadn’t left to work with dragons instead (PS9).
Charlie is easygoing and popular; he was a favorite of Hagrid’s (GF19) and served as the best man at Bill and Fleur’s wedding
Bill Weasley
Bill Weasley
Bill would be the brave one, always willing to go and do anything even if was dangerous. I mean he is a curse breaker in the books. He's willing to go against the unexpected and even the downright dangerous. Plus he decided to date/marry Fleur which takes a lot of courage.
Plus he has a bit of a rebel in him- what with the long hair and the earring.
Molly and/or Arthur Weasley
Molly and/or Arthur Weasley
A middle-aged witch, wife of Arthur and mother of seven, who puts her family first in everything she does. Molly is a very kind person, and gladly took on Harry as a sort of adopted son when she learned of his home situation (OP5). When angry, though, she can be rather overbearing and tends to explode (CS3, OP24). This almost certainly stems from her protectiveness; she lost her brothers Fabian and Gideon to Death Eaters in the first war, and her greatest fear is the death of one of her own (OP9). Molly is short and plump, with red hair (PA1) and a kind face (CS3).
Molly met Arthur (who in private calls her “Mollywobbles”) at Hogwarts, eloping shortly after graduation (HBP5, HBP6). She soon began having children, who she home-schooled (WBD), along with doing the cooking and cleaning, while her husband worked at the Ministry (CS3). Though she always wanted a daughter (DH19) and seems most protective over Ginny (DH36), Molly is always keeping an eye on her whole family, thanks in part to her magical clock which informs her of their locations (GF10). Her children have always done their part in keeping her hands full, too – particularly the twins, who seem exceptionally good at earning her wrath (GF5), and Percy, who disowned the family for two years (OP4).
When Ron became friends with Harry Potter, Molly became a mother figure for him as well; she fears his death quite as much as those of her own children (OP9) and treated Hermione rather coolly for a while when Witch Weekly reported her treating Harry poorly (GF28). She and Bill also come to Hogwarts in place of his family during the Triwizard Tournament (GF31).
Molly upset ©2001 Sebastian Theilig.Molly is a very capable witch in her own right. She is one of the "old crowd," a groups of witches and wizards who are faithful and devoted to Albus Dumbledore. Molly is clearly a force to be reckoned with, not only for the errant Daily Prophet reporter who wants a good story about the reports of a flying car (she tells them to clear off or she'll set the family ghoul on them), or for her sons, who cower before her wrath even as they tower over her, but also for those who want to see Voldemort rise to power again. Dumbledore talks to her not as a silly housewife who gets a bit giddy about Lockhart but as a friend and ally. It would be a mistake to underestimate Molly Weasley.
During the second rise of Voldemort, Molly joined the Order of the Phoenix. She took on the responsibility of making 12 Grimmauld Place into a place fit for human habitation. Molly does often do the cooking, but she makes everyone chip in and help.
Molly seems rather short of temper and even ornery at times while she was staying at the headquarters of the Order, but this attitude is somewhat explained by her reaction to the Boggart who had taken up residence in a drawing room desk. When confronted, her worst fears became apparent as the Boggart changed shape to show her all her family one by one, lifeless, killed in the war with Voldemort (OP9). Molly Weasley carried these worries and fears with her as the war against Voldemort and his Death Eaters came to a ferocious close.
In the Battle of Hogwarts, Molly fought along with the rest of her family, which was forever changed when Fred was killed by a collapsing wall. Later, when Bellatrix attacked Ginny, Molly mounted a fierce counterattack and single-handedly did something that had been attempted unsuccessfully by many powerful wizards before her: dueled with and finished off the murderous Bellatrix Lestrange, and revenged the Longbottoms, Sirius, Dobby and Tonks
An easy-going, middle-aged wizard with a passion for Muggles, and whose dearest ambition is to learn how airplanes fly. Arthur fought, along with the rest of his family, in the Battle of Hogwarts in May, 1998. He and Molly have at least twelve grandchildren, and it is a good bet that one of them likes to tinker in the shed with grandpa.
Arthur is a thin, balding man who wears glasses and long robes, and whose hair is a characteristically Weasley shade of red (CS3). Arthur met Molly Prewett in Gryffindor and quickly fell in love; they eloped soon after graduation and eventually had seven children (HBP6). He raised his family to wear the “blood traitor” label with pride (DH24), and it’s consistently evident that his wife and children are the most important things in his life (DH5).
Arthur worked for years in the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office (CS3) at the Ministry of Magic, a job that, though it doesn’t pay well, he loves (GF11). He is particularly fascinated by Muggle technology, collecting batteries and plugs (GF4) and quizzing every Muggle-born he meets about anything from “escapators” to bus stops (CS4). He also enjoys enchanting Muggle objects, such as a Ford Anglia he bewitched to fly (CS5). While he worked for here, Arthur was the author of theMuggle Protection Act, an important law of the Ministry of Magic. This makes an interesting contrast with the anti-Muggle attitudes of members of certain other pure-blood families; one ofSirius Black's ancestors, for example, tried to make Muggle-hunting legal (OP6).
He was eventually promoted to Head of the Office for the Detection and Confiscation of Counterfeit Defensive Spells Protective Objects, but always missed his old job (HBP5). Arthur’s laid back attitude and eccentric ways can get him in trouble with his wife at times, though most of it is probably deserved (CS3).
Unlike most wizarding pure-bloods, Arthur puts no stock in blood status, instead judging his friends and enemies based on their actions toward others. Generally he seems very well-liked, chatting comfortably with most Ministry employees (GF7, OP7). This contrasts sharply, however, with his palpable contempt for Lucius Malfoy (GF8), and he all but attacks Runcorn, after the wizard lands Dirk Cresswell inAzkaban (DH13).
Staying true to his beliefs, Arthur became a very active member in the Order of the Phoenix when Voldemort returned (OP6). One evening, while on guard duty outside the Department of Mysteries, he was attacked by Voldemort’s snake, Nagini, and nearly died (OP21). After some time in St. Mungo’s, he fortunately made a full recovery, though not before making an attempt at receiving Muggle stitches exasperated his wife (OP23, OP24). Dearest Ambition is to find out how Muggle airplanes stay up in the air (HBP5). Collects plugs and batteries
