You'll Never Believe What This 14-Year-Old Boy Did To Save A Cat Hanging From A Bridge

Gavin Brown was on his way to a birthday party with his mom when he spotted something shocking: the car in front of them tossed a cat out the window.

The cat hit the pavement and scurried over the overpass, out of sight.

Gavin sprang into action.

The cat's nails were torn from trying to grip the pavement, and he was breathing hard from the trauma of being thrown from the car and hanging from the bridge.

Gavin brought the cat back to his car and he and his mom rushed to a local animal hospital, fearing for the animal's life.

Gavin didn't leave the cat's side once through the whole ordeal. He even decided to name him Lucky.

Through Facebook, a local Good Samaritan found Gavin's heroic story and decided to pay for a large portion of the cat's vet bills.

Gavin cried when he learned of the stranger's kindness.

He looks forward to giving Lucky a loving, safe home for the years to come.
