Wolves hunt in packs. Bears, however, tend to be solitary animals. Which is why it's so amazing that a Wolf and a Bear have somehow become best buds?

Wildlife experts have no idea how this has happened and agree that it's pretty darn remarkable.

Photographer Lassi Rautiainen recently followed the pair for a while, documenting their astounding bond. The female gray wolf and the male brown bear are inseparable.

They even scratch each others' itches!

They even share kills, which is unheard of.

"I hope you're okay with deer again tonight, because it was all they had in."

The bear seems happy enough around other bears, he seems to have convinced his bear buddies that his Wolf friend is cool.

I hope they all cuddle at night.

Like any best friends, it isn't always just about survival. The pair know how to have fun, too! We think this pair is awesome, AND adorable!

If they can make it work, then literally anyone can.
