What Pokemon type are you?

Water is the most common type and the most popular type used among pokemon trainers.  They know how to adapt in any situation and are very sensitive to their surroundings and feelings of their trainers.  Because of their sensitivity, they are also one of the most naïve types and most of the water type pokemon that are caught try to take the personalities of their trainers. It is the ideal type for beginners and along with fire and grass it is one of the three types that a rookie trainer can choose at the start of their journey. Water types want to be accepted and want to contribute into any kind of community so they try extremely hard to please making their personalities quite erratic. Rookie trainers tend to pick water types because of this particular trait, making them very easy to train and get along with. However in the hands of malicious trainers or devastating situations Water types can embody horribly evil traits.
Water types with secondary types tend to be more conflictive than pure water types. In the pokemon world they are known as ‘untrustworthy flip flops’ because they constantly want to please others and avoid any kind of conflict. In battle they are very flexible and are surprisingly quick learners due to their keen ability to relate to others. Water Types work best in a community or a team, and that’s where they shine the brightest.

Fire types are highly emotional yet powerful pokemon. Their emotions are the source of their power so the more potent the emotion the more powerful they become. It doesn’t matter whether the emotions are linked to negative or positive emotions, it all depends on the level of passion the pokemon is feeling. They are highly critical on themselves and others and take criticism to heart. They are also the pokemon that tend to hold most grudges and tend to be blinded by their goals or desires unable to think rationally. This makes highly leveled fire types dangerous but very appealing to trainers due to their fierce determination.
The source of a fire type’s power is the sun, therefore their attacks are more powerful during the day (and when the sun is most exposed). While a powerful and formidable type in battle, they are very sensitive and fragile to maintain since they can’t stand the cold. Fire types are also used as a starting pokemon for rookies since it’s generally easy to form emotional bonds with them.  They are respected among many pokemon types and they usually have an ‘alpha’ personality which means that they make better leaders than followers.

Electric types are considered to be one of the most vigorous types out there. They are extremely curious and have explosive natures when provoked. They also have a kinship with humans, since the cities are powered by their electricity. Electric types have been the subject of experimentation and because of their assistance there have been endless discoveries and inventions. Some electric types like Voltorb or Magnemite are artificial intelligences created by humans.
It is rare to see electric types in the wild or at places that don’t have electricity to feed on, making them the most urban pokemon type. They are also one of the types that is the easiest to communicate with due to their highly expressive natures. The Kanto Army uses electric types to power their planes and they are the most relied type when it comes to industrial labor.
Electric types are highly desired by trainers because of their helpful natures and fast attacks. However they are not suggested for the faint of heart since they can be very reckless in battle.

Grass types are in many ways the pokemon world’s forest guardians. If a forest’s population of grass pokemon is plentiful it means that the forest is healthy. They are also the source of medicinal powders and bitter healing herbs, making them very efficient healers. They can also predict climate changes and like fire types they are most powerful under the sun. Grass type pokemon are mostly very secretive, relaxed and timid to both humans and pokemon alike. Befriending grass types is difficult for overenthusiastic trainers since these pokemon are known to be introverts. They are passive fighters that rely on status ailments or projectiles to attack predators. Grass types are one of the three basic starter pokemon rookie trainers can choose at the start of their journey.  Their calm collected natures usually benefit trainers with placid personalities.

Fairies are mischievous Pokemon that act as embodiments of magic and mystery. It is said that the moon is the mother of all fairy type Pokemon. They always distance themsleves from other Pokemon types and are very secretive. A fairy type is always cautious of human beings, and some of them will interact with humans and make deals with them. Fairy types always offer beautiful things in return of something personal to a human whether it would be a precious object or even a secret. Angering a fairy can lead to disastrous consequences since their knowledge is greater than your own. Humans that seek knowledge from the fairies are bond to them and decieving them gives them permission to destroy your life or take something precious from you. Fairies fool humans with their beautiful appearance and having one in their roster brings status points for their unbelievable rarity. On the surface, Fairies seem to be endearing and charitable beings. However, Fairies always expect something in return of their services and if one doesn't fulfill their request they can easily rip out every joy and memory you experienced.

Ice types are formidable and sociopathic pokemon that live in the coldest areas of the pokemon world.  They completely rely on survival and lack emotions or ethical codes that humans have.  They are very silent and deadly attackers, and are feared and hated among the rest of the pokemon types.  These pokemon are completely shrouded in mystery since very few pokemon trainers managed to catch and train them.  Away from their habitat they are left vulnerable thus they are not too useful in a standard battle without a specific strategy in mind. Ice pokemon prey on humans and pokemon that die on snowy mountains and they seem to lack the desire to become stronger. They merely want to survive thus they only depend on their sharp instinct. The dangerous reputations of Ice pokemon are appealing to many trainers, making them very highly sought pokemon for collectors.
Mahogany’s gym leader Pryce is one of the only trainers that have managed to befriend Ice type pokemon and deems them as misunderstood embodiments of winter. He and his disciples are the only trainers in Jhoto that own Ice Types. They are feared for their completely ruthless battle strategies, exploiting an Ice Types pitiless demeanor to the fullest. The Ice type is often described as an ‘empty shell’ however ice pokemon that have a secondary type are capable of feeling emotions.

Dark typed pokemon are the scavengers of the pokemon world. They are cunning and most of the time they have no ethical morals. They rely in deception and most of them are kleptomaniacs. Dark types have sharp survival instincts and tend to travel in packs. However unlike bugs that work in a disciplined and organized manner, dark types blindly follow a powerful leader or head honcho. Dark types coldly calculate what benefits them and what they will gain from their actions. They are highly ambitious pokemon that would do anything to get what they want and are extremely persistent in their endeavors. They have a talent in exploiting weakness and they are prone of taking advantage of others.  Dark types tend to be great strategists but their methods can be seen as ruthless or immoral.

Psychic types are by far the most intelligent type in existence. They speak mainly through telepathy and most of them can read thoughts or emotions. Pure Psychics have greater abilities than secondary Psychics, and are constantly hungry for knowledge. Unfortunately, Psychics tend to keep knowledge to themselves and only share what they know if it will benefit them.  Pre-evolved Psychics do not have control over their abilities so they tend to be very confusing and quirky individuals. Fully evolved Psychics however are in complete control and become very cold and calculating beings. In the pokemon world they are highly respected and other types frequently seek them for advice or wisdom. However, Psychics are more drawn to humans since they tend to have more complex minds than pokemon.
Psychic pokemon are also easily bored and become frustrated when they don’t understand a subject or discipline they feel that’s necessary for them to learn. Malicious Psychic types have no qualms in controlling others emotions and twisting perceptions for their own entertainment.
In the pokemon training world, Psychics are incredibly popular and sought after. They have incredible offenses and agility, but poor physical defenses. However, this comes at a price. While Psychic types offer knowledge and truth to their trainers, they slowly sap their emotions. It is no surprise that Psychic specialists are cold and detached beings because of this. That’s why it is suggested that is a trainer wishes to befriend a Psychic type to be extremely cautious with their intentions and to always keep a certain distance.
