Soresu was a lightsaber form that focused entirely on defence. It was created to block blasters since they were becoming a popular weapon. One famous practitioner was Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Ataru was by far the most acrobatic lightsaber form. The user would have to call upon the force to be able to make big jumps to build up momentum. One famous practitioner was Grand-master Yoda.
