Domain Development Series Part 1

Hey everyone that doesn't follow me yet. I am an entrepreneur, and my main gig is buying and developing old domains and websites and reviving them with content and building up their traffic. My latest acquisition and development project is Small Business Sense. This one already came with a great website design and lots of traffic. So I'll essentially just keep the momentum going and see how much more I can add to it over the next decade (or for as long as the internet is a thing).
I see it alot like what real estate developers do when they acquire a run down/fixxer upper property and renovate it and then rent it out.

The reason I much prefer domains over traditional real estate is the small amount of effort involved in the digital space vs. traditional. I currently own 1 physical rental property (down from 2 several years ago) and I'm trying to sell it right now. It's rented out to a fairly average tenant, but we don't make any money on it. I think right now it's costing me money to keep it around every month.

For comparison sake, I purchased Small-Bizsense.com for high 4-figures last month. It's already paid off 10% of the purchase price in the first month just from the existing traffic and revenue it came with. In the coming 12 months or less, I'll make all that money back, and then it will be pure profit. Anyway, I'll be talking alot more about my other domain projects and what they've cost me so far, and how much I've made (or lost in some cases) from them.
