If you were a character on Game of Thrones, how would you die?

What, you didn't think you would survive, did you? Statistically speaking, those who live in Westeros are far more likely to die horrifically than survive. When you play the Game of Thrones, you win or you die, and there are a lot of losers. But you get points for style. How will you go, and what does that say about you? (Beware: spoilers ahead).

What is your House?

Where would you like to live?

What is your religious preference?

How do you think knights should act?

Someone is trying to rob you. What do you do?

How do you defend yourself?

How social are you?

What sort of occupation do you have?

You are burned alive!

You are burned alive!

Don’t feel bad, a lot of people get burned. Well, maybe you should feel a little bad—burning isn’t a good way to go. Ask the Hound. Those who live in King’s Landing are at an increased risk of burning by wildfire; those in or near Slaver’s Bay have an increased risk of burning by dragon’s fire; those who hang out with the Red Priests of the Lord of Light just might get burned as a sacrifice.
But the crispy and charred are realists: they don’t believe in chivalry and aren’t about to make a stand for ideals that will get them killed. They are survivalists (bad survivalists) and place their loyalty with the people who seem to have the most power to protect them.

You are killed by White Walkers!

You are killed by White Walkers!

Hold the door!
There are very few who have seen white walkers and lived to tell about it, and even fewer who have killed them, so there’s no shame if you succumb to the Army of the Night King. Oh wait, remember how Samwell Tarly killed one? Sam Tarly has more killer instinct than you? Huh.
Looks like you have to be a White Walker now, which might not be too bad. You at least get to spend some time in nature. Anyone in the North is at an increased risk of White Walker death, especially wildlings.
You are probably either a member of the Night’s Watch or a wildling. Either way, you are sort of outcast from the rest of Westeros, and no one knows what cold means quite as well as you do. You have a tight bond with your fellow wildlings/brothers because you depend upon each other for survival, and are willing to put the good of your group above your own personal well-being. The rest of Westeros can go hang.

You are killed with a blade!

You are killed with a blade!

In Westeros, everyone carries a blade. Even beggars and children go armed because you never know when you may need to stick someone with the pointy end. So it makes sense that most people would die by an old fashioned stab and poke. Whether you got shivved on the King’s Road for your gold, tickled for your secrets, or separated from your head for treason, you’re in good company.
One thing is certain, though: you didn’t die without a fight. You have honor and aren’t about to trade it to villains for your life. You are brave, have a strong sense of right and wrong, and don’t stand on the sidelines. You are more likely to try to protect others. No wonder you died so quickly.

You are poisoned!

You are poisoned!

You never saw it coming. In fact, you thought everyone liked you! Don’t beat yourself up; poisoners are not known for their honesty, and since you are probably royalty in King’s Landing or Dorne, there are plenty of people who wanted you dead. People act like they love you right up until they try to kill you.
You are a leader, either by will or by birth, and you have no doubt that you deserve the best. People follow you, but you are never sure if it’s because they love you or they are afraid of you—and you don’t really care as long as you get your way. You are unique: not many people can say they were poisoned (because they are dead...get it?)

You are shot with an arrow!

You are shot with an arrow!

You were shot down like a dog. Maybe you were too dangerous to get close to, but I suspect it was more a convenience thing (come on. You, dangerous?). Someone wanted to get the job done effectively with the least amount of effort, and you never had a chance. You probably didn’t even see who shot you. You are most likely to be shot at The Twins or Castle Black, though King’s Landing has its share of arrow-related deaths.
Death by shooting is a fairly common, undistinguished way to go. You are probably a foot soldier, fairly unprotected and caught unaware, though it is possible you are of noble birth. Your death says more about your killer than about you: he or she is probably not a strong hand-to-hand fighter, and would rather not get close enough to find out. Or maybe they are just lazy. Heck, maybe a stray arrow fell out of the clear blue sky and took you out. Bonus points if you are shot while on the toilet.

You die, but you don't stay dead!

You die, but you don't stay dead!

Really? What kind of voodoo magic is this?? Only a couple of people have come back from the dead (depending on how “alive” or “human-like” your definition of “not dead” is), so you are really unique! You are most likely to be resurrected if you hang out with the Red Priests (and don’t get burned), or if you are a major character (let’s be honest). So you are famous. Can I have your autograph?
You have too much left to do in Westeros to remain in the sweet embrace of death, and the Lord of Light (or a rogue maester who doesn’t play by the rules) has brought you back because you are too important to rest in peace. Watch out, though: a lot of people are depending on you, and no one really knows how you were able to come back, but we all sort of expect the other shoe to drop soon. People don’t just come back with no consequences, and the Lord of Light doesn’t seem like a very charitable God.
