Thousands of peanut bunker fish recently became trapped in a creek in Raritan Bay by bigger fish and boats, and have now suffocated and died.

The suffocation was due to a lack of oxygen in the bay caused by warm temperatures in the water. And if the sight isn't scary enough, the smell is even worse.

And to make matters worse, The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has no idea how long cleanup will take.
